Banana Cake with Dry Flour

This banana cake made with dry flour is one of the most popular recipes at home. It’s super easy to make, and the result is always incredible—a perfect combination of flavor and texture. Every time I make it, it’s gone in no time, leaving everyone wanting more.

I used a 30×22 cm pan for this recipe and used 8 silver bananas to cover it, so the number of bananas will depend on the size of your pan and the size of the bananas.

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions:

  1. Grease a baking pan with oil.
  2. Slice each banana into two slices (or three if the banana is large) and cover the bottom of the pan with them.
  3. In a bowl, mix half of the sugar with the cinnamon powder, stir well, and sprinkle over the bananas.
  4. Mix the remaining sugar, flour, and baking powder, and spread this mixture over the cake.
  5. Melt the butter and drizzle it over the cake in circular motions.
  6. Beat the eggs and pour them over the cake. Then, poke a few holes with a fork.
  7. Bake at 180°C (350°F) until golden; in my oven, it took about 30 minutes.
