Tilapia Fillet with Butter Sauce

Today, I’m sharing a delicious and easy recipe for tilapia fillet with butter sauce! This sauce turns out amazing—creamy with a hint of lemon acidity. You can substitute tilapia with other fish, like salmon or sea bass, if you prefer. To serve alongside the fish, I made white rice, and it was perfect!

Tilapia Fillet with Butter Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 500 g tilapia fillets – Can be substituted with any fish of your choice.
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Pat dry the fish fillets with a paper towel and season with salt to taste.
  2. Next, bake or grill the fillets until golden. I cooked mine in the air fryer for about 20 minutes.
  3. To make the sauce, add the lemon juice, butter, heavy cream, and a pinch of salt to a saucepan.
  4. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir until the sauce thickens to a creamy consistency.
  5. The parsley can be added and mixed into the sauce while it’s still on the heat, or, if you prefer, you can serve the fish with the sauce and sprinkle fresh parsley on top.
